Working Hour and Schedule Characteristics among Nurses: A Retrospective Study

Introduction: To describe and compare characteristics of working hours work schedules among nurses in 2019 2021. Evidence about the association regarding relationship between nurses’ with COVID-19 pandemic is limited. Materials Methods: The research was conducted at a medical unit secondary care regional hospital Slovenia. Of 71 employees who were eligible, 24 fulfilled criteria their data included study. Results Discussion: There substantial differences hour schedule Compared to 2019, 2021 worked more hours, long shifts, had fewer free weekends education days, almost double number sick days. Conclusion: While nurse manager managed some appropriately, additional awareness raising, implementation related computer program, are suggested optimize develop schedules.
